Gary & Deb Hvass, serving with Soul Zone in Northfield, MN

· Pray for students who learned about their spiritual gifts at a seminar Gary presented in February. 

· Pray for “NightWatch” and “Prayer Furnaces,” two prayer and worship venues for students on campus.

· Pray that lives will be changed at the men’s and women’s campus Bible studies.

Rick & Becky Mackey, serving with United World Mission in the Dominican Republic

· Pray that God will provide local leadership within each of the church plants:  El Montana, Piedra Blanca, Los Calabazos, El Salto, and Boma.

· Pray for the Bible studies we have started to disciple the believers in these churches.   Pray that those in the studies will feel comfortable and ready to lead them so that we can begin studies in new areas.

· Praise God for a Men’s Bible Study that has started in Montana.  Pray specifically for Jose Oscar, who seems very close to making a decision for Christ.  Praise God for their interest to start a study with teenagers and young adults.

· Praise God for His care and guidance to us as we have been ministering for just six months here (after language school).  Praise God for his faithfulness to us. 

· Pray for continued guidance from the Lord.

Steve & Jane Wheeler, serving with ReachGlobal in Canada

· Pray for the Ahuntsic church which the Wheelers helped establish, and have now turned over leadership to national leaders.

· Pray that the Lord would provide for increased financial needs due to the devaluation of the dollar.

Jose & Vanesa Nolasco, serving with Students International in Dominican Republic

· Pray that their dental clinic will have a consistent electrical supply.

· Pray for the Nolasco’s financial situation; especially in regard to the fact that they are limited in the amount of dental supplies and medications they can buy because of high fuel costs.

· Pray that they will get the money they need either to repair their existing vehicle or buy a new one.

· Pray for health and strength for Jose, Vanesa, and Marcella.

Charley & Cheryl Warner, serving  with Barnabas International in Vienna, Austria

· Pray for Charley as he works on his “English-Russian Glossary of Theological Terminology.”

· Pray for the U.S. dollar to strengthen against the euro.

· Pray for their daughter, Melissa, as she finishes her senior year and applies to colleges in the U.S.   Pray for the Lord to direct her to the right place and for the finances she will need.

· Pray that Russia will reverse its new visa regulations for foreigners.

· Pray for our many travels in the spring and summer.

Garth & Jody Pederson, serving  with MAF in Africa

· Praise God for the Instructor Pilot, Chief Pilot, and Chief of Maintenance training Garth completed in the last few weeks.

· Pray for God’s presence and strength as they pack up their house and get ready to go back to Congo this week

· Pray that they would be able to sell their van.

· Pray for God’s grace as they say goodbye again to family and friends.

· Pray for their transition back to Africa, especially the children as they transition back to life and school in Africa.

· Praise God for the love and support they have received while they have been home.

John & Naomi Downer, serving  with Partners in Florida

· Pray for their new son, Brennan

· Pray for their house in Orlando to sell so that they can transition to Richmond in preparation to move to England some time in summer 2008.

· Pray for God to raise someone up to take John’s place in Florida so that the ministry there can continue as he moves to England.

· Pray for protection for Partners workers in China who are being persecuted right now.  Many missionaries are being kicked out of the country in advance of this summer’s Olympics.

Enrique & Becky Fernandez, serving  with EFCA in Costa Rica

· Pray for a smooth transition as they move their ministry to Costa Rica.

· Pray for wisdom from the Lord as they make decisions on what to take with them.

· Pray for energy as they finish packing and cleaning, and closing accounts and contracts.

· Pray for emotional strength as they say good-bye to their children and friends in Minneapolis.

· Pray for financial support to cover the moving expenses and relocation in Costa Rica.

· Pray for housing to rent and a vehicle to buy in Costa Rica.

Larry & Bella Mori, serving with EFCA in Japan

· Pray that their children, Tim and Tiffany, will continue to adjust to school and social life in the states

· Pray for Mrs. Oikawa, Mrs. Fukui, Mrs. Nikaido, and Mrs. Kakutani, all seekers who have been attending the English classes.

· Pray for Larry as he works on his ordination.

· Pray for the first evangelistic meeting and  Christmas gathering being held in the new location of the Sendai Izumi Church.

Roy & Marabeth Ringenberg, serving with HCJB Global in Ecuador

· Pray that Christians in Carmen Bajo will have victory over an unforgiving spirit, which is a great battle for many of them.

· Pray that God will provide top quality pediatric professors from the U.S. to teach at the medical education meetings at Hospital Vozandes from January 28-February 1.

· Pray that God will use Roy’s teaching medicine and the Bible at Hospital Vozandes and Marabeth’s ministry to women and children as He wishes so more people will come to love and follow Jesus.
