Gary Kadansky, serving with Youth for Christ in the Rochester Area.

· Praise God that the new office space is almost ready and they hope to move in by the end of October.

· Pray for Gary’s campus ministry at Rochester and other area high schools.  Pray that his conversations with kids would go deeper than surface discussions, so that middle and high schoolers would understand the reality of Christ in their every day life.

Kevin and Emma Barnhart, serving with SEND.  They are in Rochester for approximately 1 year so Emma can receive cancer treatment.  

·  Praise the Lord for provision of a home in Rochester for their family to live in.

·  Praise the Lord that Kevin and the children also arrived safely from Kiev.

·  Pray for their children, Mitchell, Sasha, and Grace, as they adjust to the major changes taking place in their lives.

·  Pray for wisdom, clarity, and guidance for Emma and Kevin as they meet with the doctors this week and as they make decisions regarding her treatment plan.

·  Pray for their missionary team in Ukraine as Emma is the 6th person from the team to be diagnosed with cancer in the last 5 years.

· Pray for peace for the whole family and their loved ones.

Stephen & Jane Wheeler, serving with the Evangelical Free Church in Canada.

· Praise for some positive responses from parents whose kids attended the outreach English youth camp and who now appear to be open  to a camp where biblical character qualities are included as part of the camp.  

· Pray for direction for the 2008 camps.

· Praise that the newly autonomous Ahuntsic Church continues to function without direct missionary intervention.  Continue to pray for them for strength, unity, and protection.

John & Naomi Downer, serving with Pioneers.

·  Pray that they will receive all of their financial support which they need before they can go to England.

·  Pray for strength in their marriage and wisdom in parenting.

·  Pray for development of quality relationships in the UK—both personal and ministry-wise.

·  Pray for a revival among the European youth—for a new generation of leaders in the church to rise up.

Emily Bawden, serving with New Life Family Services in Rochester.

· Praise God for a great summer!  New Life has seen many clients over the past few months.  They are grateful to be able to minister to them.

· Praise God for their many volunteers, including some recent additions.  This is an answer to prayer.

· Pray for strength for the staff; great contacts in the community; and most of all, that God would be glorified.

· Pray for their upcoming New Life Family Services banquet on 10/12.

· Pray that Vanesa will be able to handle her classes along with ministry and family.

· Praise God for the support which Calvary sends to them.

· Pray that they will continue to be effective in ministering to the people in the Dominican Republic as they attempt to adjust to new government regulations.

Kevin and Emma Barnhart, serving  in Ukraine with Send International.

· Pray for their family as they transition back to life in Kiev.  There will be a lot happening right away in ministry and home schooling.

· Genna Friesen, their friend and co-worker is being treated for a cancerous brain tumor. Pray for his family and also his healing and return to the field in Ukraine.

· Pray that God will raise the $40,000 per year needed to support the 13 Bible Colleges in Ukraine.

· Pray for Kevin as he prepares for the Teach the Teacher Conference this fall.

· The Barnharts praise God for their Calvary family, especially  for Calvary’s love and prayers.  Calvary is a blessing and encouragement to them.
