Women's Back Yard Bible Study

Wednesday afternoons June 18, July 9, July 23, July 30th, August 6th and August 13th.

The Bible study led by Marette Jorgenson will meet at the Jorgenson Farm near Byron, from 2-4:30 in the afternoon.  Please contact Marette if you have any questions.  She also needs to know what ages of children will be coming so she can plan her curriculum and care accordingly.

We will be going through a study called, “Lessons learned from the Grocery Store.”

The topics covered will be:

• Where did you leave your shopping cart? (Integrity)
• Slow Cashier in Aisle 6 (Patience)
• Low Fat Spirituality (Trying to get Holy without working at it)
• Would you like Paper or plastic? (What are we made of?)
• Do you have any coupons? (Serving God isn’t cheap)
• Don’t go shopping hungry (Self-control)

There will be a workbook for each lady to work through. If you are unable to come to all, the lesson material is in the workbook to read through scriptures and questions for you to work through at your convenience.

There will be child care for children able to walk through Kindergarten. Older children (Kindergarten through 4th grade) be supervised by teenagers with a lesson time and games. Children over 4th grade may need to help with the other children.

3:30 will be open pool time. The Ladies study will be finished and the mom’s will be supervising the children in the pool. No children will be swimming during the Bible Study. Younger infants are more than welcome to stay with the Mothers in the Bible study.

People may come earlier and eat lunch on the deck and swim if it’s good weather. Call ahead to be sure.
