Hello from the DR!!!
What an Awesome God we have!! Great is His faithfulness!!!
Thanks you to all of you have allowed us to be here!
Thanks for your financial support, your donation of supplies, beanie babies and most of all your prayers. We are feeling your prayers. The children love the beanie babies, they say thanks.
Being here has now allowed me to put a face and a place to the names I have heard from the many of you who have gone before us. As we greet them, they all return your greeting. Thanks for building relationships that we are able to step into.
Our scripture passage this morning included, Colossians 3:2 Set your mind on things above, not on the things of this earth. We are all challenged by this.
 Today was our second day at Buenas Aires the Iglesia Nueva Vida church. Thanks to many of you who helped to build the church building and the house next door. Chucho and his wife live in the house and are very grateful to Rochester. After lunch Chucho gave his testimony and the story of the church. Bill Hansen another pastor told of his work now. We continued seeing adult, children, and dental patients. We had a very busy day, thankfully today was less intense than yesterday.
A visit to the hospital showed the baby is doing a little better, they are questioning Dengue fever, and she will probably be there several more days.
This evening was Team time, which gave us a chance to connect and share with one another.
Please continue to pray for us, for God’s will, safety and continued health.
Pray for the baby in the hospital and her family.
Pray for the people of the DR, that they will feel God’s love and will know the truth.
