A Woman's Heart: God's Dwelling Place by Beth Moore

Description: Join us as we discover the parallels of the Tabernacle's building and our lives as chosen vessels of God. Taken primarily from the Book of Exodus, we will take a fascinating journey into why God would chose to live in a wilderness tabernacle, made by human hands. This is an updated version of Beth's original study from 10 years ago. It is has new DVD segments and an updated member book. A word from Beth Moore, "This study of the Old Testament tabernacle was my first in-depth journey with God, and it ruined me for anything less than a life devoted to His fascinating Word. I hope something similar happens to you."  Class Design: Watch DVD one week, discuss homework assignments the following week. Approximately 2- 3 hours of homework over a 2 week period

There will not be a book to purchase but there will be worksheet hand-outs each week. If you think you have gleaned all there is to glean from Psalm 23, think again.

A Modern Girl’s Guide to Bible Study by Jen Hatmaker

Description:“Keep this truth constantly in sight. God has given you His Word because it is your guide, your truth and your hope.” ~ Jen Hatmaker Page 150.   Join us as we go through this book on a refreshing way to form a deeper relationship with God and His Word. She’s funny, she’s real and she loves God. It’s easy to read and the homework is how much time you can put into it.   Once the tools are in place, we will choose  some favorite verses,  topics and  books that will get each gal started on their own journey. “My heart stands in awe of Your Words.” Psalm 119:161

Igniting a Passion to Pray by Fern Nichols & Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer

Description: This study group is for women who desire a more effective prayer life and spiritual walk. We will start with Igniting a Passion to Pray, a six-week study that will help us discover what Scripture says about prayer, learn practical how-to's of praying and the different aspects of prayer. This will have minimal homework aside from prayer. Then we will do Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer. This six-week study is designed to help us know the voice of God: His language, character, and tone of voice. By growing closer to God through His Word, we will be able to discern God's voice from the voice of strangers. This study is supported with a DVD and requires approximately 15-20 minutes of homework 5 days a week. Vicki and Karmen have a several ideas brewing for the rest of the year.
