Sunday School

At 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings, Calvary offers Sunday School classes for all elementary age children.

The Sunday School classes teach children God’s Word in an age-appropriate, Bible-centered classroom. The goal of our Sunday School is to mature children in Jesus Christ.  It is our hope that children develop a personal and real faith in Christ.

The Sunday School classes that meet at 9 a.m. are:

• Kindergarten,
• First Grade,
• Second Grade,
• Third Grade,
• Fourth and Fifth Grade Boys,
• Fourth and Fifth Grade Girls.

Summer Elementary (Beginning June 15)

The elementary Sunday School classes are combined and will be as follows:

9 a.m. service

Kindergarten/First Grade Class - Room 203 (through pie-shaped room)

Second/Third Grade Class - Room 225

Fourth and Fifth Grade Girls Class - Room 145

Fourth and Fifth Grade Boys Class - Room 144

10:30 a.m. service

King's Kids - Grades K - 5

King's Kids 

King’s Kids is a ministry for elementary children, grades Kindergarten through 2nd,  at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. 

Kings Kids consists of large-group worship and story time, then breaking up into small groups.  All of the children meet together in the gym at the beginning of the 10:30 a.m. worship hour.  There they have a game time, followed by song worship.  Next we have a story time.  After the large group time, kids break up into small groups where they have a snack, do an activity page, and get to know each other.  You may e-mail us if you would like more information.   

 Sunday Evening Elementary Programs News  

Our Sunday evening program is called Knight’s Quest. Like King’s Kids, this is a large-group, Small Group program held in the pie-shaped room.

· It is for all kids in elementary grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade

· Kids start in the worship service and be dismissed into Knight’s Quest part-way into the worship service.

We are still in need of elementary small group leaders for Knights’ Quest. We also need an AV technician. Contact Pastor Dave if you can do this.

There are no elementary classes for children during the 5 p.m. service.

However, children in the Kindergarten and First grade are welcome to attend our early childhood class in room 147.
