Is the Lord Nudging You to Serve?

Fall is upon us and life is in full swing for many. Have you found your "groove" yet? One thing you maybe don't do very often is stop and ask the Lord what He's wanting you to do - how best to spend your time and do His kingdom work? I know it's been a big switch for me to step out of the GriefShare ministry which I am passionate about and take this coordinator job (It's still volunteer and there is no company car!)

Since I came on board, it's been exciting to touch base with all the women already involved in women's ministries. But I want to make it known that there are still some spots to fill! Perhaps the Lord is laying on your heart to get off the sidelines and get involved! (If you're already involved in numerous things at church, I'm not really talking to you right now, ok?)

I thought I'd take this spot to let you know where volunteers are currently needed:

• women-women mentoring (hoping to be able to offer in early 2009)
• contacting women who are new to Calvary
• retreat planning for Feb 6-7, 2009
• publicity
• website updating
• Volunteers in Education Liason (ViE - volunteering in public schools)
• new: opportunity for used clothing distribution

Please contact me if you have these gifts (or are willing to learn) and passions and you feel the Lord "nudging you" to use them at this time!
