"Thank you for your prayers!”

Last year, my title on this page was "We need your prayers".....now it is "Thank you for your prayers".. God has answered in some really cool ways.  Below is our latest Women's Ministry Organizational Chart. God continues to grow and develop this ministry.  I stand completely amazed every time He brings forth (without any effort from me) another person to meet the needs of our growing church.

 After the printing of our 2007/2008 Brochure, and thinking all was in place, He provided Char Derkson to lead an evening Study and Ellen Swanson to head up a mentoring program.  Our beloved Barb Fisher had to step down from leading the Evening Edition because she felt God calling her to spend more time with her family.  We prayed over the summer, made phone calls and nothing.  BUT GOD, was at work in Char's life and brought her forth to fill this need.

 For the two years I've been involved in Women's Minisry, I have felt that we need to provide a mentoring program.  But there had never been a person called out to head it up....until now.....Early this summer, I scrapbooked with Debbie Brown, Amy Bowers, Karmen Saski and Allison Hasilius and all agreed they wanted mentors, but didn't know how to tap into another generation of women to get that sort of guidance.  So I guess God decided He'd heard enough from us Calvary women about the subject and has now brought Ellen Swanson to lead us in this area.  Pastor Larry and Steve Washecheck have also been instrumental in making it happen.
