Parent’s Cooperative

The Parent’s Cooperative is the name given to Calvary’s Sunday Morning Nursery and Preschool Ministries. It is called the Parents’ Cooperative because parents work together with our Sunday morning team leaders to provide care for children not yet in school.

The Parents’ Cooperative also welcomes volunteers to its care ministry, and once the team leaders and volunteers are in place, parents are scheduled as needed to complete the care needs in the classrooms.

The Parents’ Cooperative consists of five separate classes, each meeting during the 9 and 10:30 a.m. services on Sunday mornings. These classes are the Infant Nursery, Walker Nursery, Bunnies Preschool, Lambs Preschool, and Kangaroo Preschool.

Parent's Cooperative classes for the summer are combined from five classes into three.   All children with birthdays after May 30, 2006 are registered in the Infants and Toddlers class.   All children whose birthdays range between September 1, 2004 and May 30, 2006 will be our Bunnies class.   All children not yet in Kindergarten born before September 1, 2004 are in the Kangaroos class.   This means all of the Lambs and Kangaroos are combined into one class, while the Walker's class is split between the Infants and Toddlers class and the Bunnies class.

Calvary’s Parents Cooperative is a safe, teaching environment, providing teaching time for children from the age of one on up. Parents choosing to place their children in our Parents’ Cooperative classrooms must complete the Co-op registration form.
