HELPS is a volunteer-based ministry that matches requests for help with volunteers based on areas in which they are interested in serving. HELPS allows everyone the opportunity to serve thus increasing the number of available volunteers while streamlining the entire process of fulfilling requests.

The HELPS kickoff was Sunday, September 11. A total of 462 people at Calvary have already filled out the volunteer form to date. This information has been entered into the church database and has been used to help fulfill two-three requests per week from individuals and ministries. With your help, we have fulfilled requests to help build a storage area, do laundry, provide transportation, help families move, supply church kitchen help, and provide childcare. We want to thank everyone for their participation up to this point and provide you with a few reminders. If you have not completed the HELPS volunteer form or you need to update what you signed up for, please take a few minutes and do so by logging in to the Calvary website (see the directions below). Please keep in mind to select only those skills and interests you would be likely to help out with when contacted by the HELPS team. If you are in need of help, we would love to be able to try to find volunteers to meet your needs. You can fill out a request for help form on the Calvary website (see directions below).

Both the volunteer and request for help forms are also available in paper format at the information center. Simply complete the form and place them in the office drop box. Go to the "Member Area" of the site right now to update your Helps Volunteer information

• Note: You will be asked to login.  Only emails addresses are valid userids. 
• Please create a userid if you do not already have one, by selecting the "Create an account" link on the login screen.  Using the email address that you are currently receiving Calvary emails is recommend. An activation email will then be sent to you.  Select the activation link in the email to activate your userid.  Then close the activation browser window and go to the Calvary website and select the "Member Area" mainmenu item.
